Hello again. I'm back. After several years being busy, I'm now retired and looking to catch up with my great grandfather ..James Fisher Pte, #2217, who died 4/6/1915.  I have all the basic info on him and how he probably died at the 3rd battle of Krithia. But was wondering if there is any new digitised info that has been made available in the last few years since the last time I was on this forum.  I'm in Australia so some of the records are hard to access.
I know my great grandmother received the widows pension once she moved to Melbourne and saw on ancestry that these records are now available... but I can't get find her or him. Can someone help?
Thanks
Wendy

Hello Wendy,
The pension ledgers and index cards are available through ,,Fold 3" which is a part of Ancestry that requires a further subscription.

As far as I can tell not all the records have been digitized. Ancestry is showing that approximately 1.9 million records are on line, a search on the net reveals that there are somewhere between 6.5 and 8 million records in total. I expect it will be a while before they are all available.

Thanks,
Looks like I'll have to wait awhile.
