Pte Bower has just received an entry in the UK Book of Remembrance.  IFCP are seeking a burial record.
Age 55, 196 Depot Manchester Regiment. Husband of Eliza Mary Bower of Doncaster.

Now confirmed as Doncaster (Hyde Park) Cemetery. William died  post-discharge of an aortic aneurism

Following one Platoon and everything around them....
