2nd Bn Manchester Regiment

The following is not complete as I have found some discrepancies.
as my list has 26 Officers and not 27 also there are Officers that
are given the same departure date on their MIC as the Battalion
but did not leave with them.

Officers that left with the 2nd  battalion for the front in August 1914

I also have
Captain Theobold and 2/Lt J H M Smith who did leave with the Battalion
on the 14th.

On the 26th August 1914 after the retreat only 8 Officers and
240 men being collected more joined later.

 2/Lt Hugh de Putron  joined on the 5th Sept 1914 with the
first reinforcements from base.

with the second and third reinforcements of 176 men.
