It would seem that the records "at my end" are adrift in comparison with your Red Cross info.   Would you care, please, to see what transpires in respect of the above named officer?

I have :   Missing 30th August 1914.      Interned Holland 5th January 1918.    Repatriated 18th November 1918.     PhilipG.

Philip,
Lt Burrows was captured at Le Cateau on 26th August according to the RC records, he had been wounded in his lower left leg. The dates you quote for his internment in Holland and his repatriaton to the UK agree with the RC records.

I wonder if the discrepency in dates is due to the date of the casuality report sent in by the battalion.
