Norman's Pension Card confirms cause of death as TB and the Pension Record confirms discharge due to TB attributed to service.
His mother Mary Jane received a Pension.  She also received a Dependent Pension for her other son, James, KIA with 1/5th E Lancs on 20/10/1918 (see MEN 11/12/1918).  SHe had already lost Harry and Sarah, whi had died in the 20s. https://images.findagrave.com/photos/2017/321/UNCEM_2270422_617832c7-b60e-43f4-9e81-f2fc0f5e2009.jpeg

Obit & Funeral attached suggesting Gas was initial cause.

I'll send the records to IFCP before ordering the DC.

DC confirms cause of death as Pulmonary TB.  Norman died at Baguley Sanitorium.  Registered by his brother John on 25/7/1918.  Norman had been employed as a Clerk by Bassinette Makers.

Another brother, James, was killed in Dec 1918 https://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/531424/usher,-/

The Headstone photo shows a clear inscription for Norman User, so his burial is just waiting for commemoration.
