Harry Wilson had been a piecer in a cotton mill when he attested on 23/05/1916. He was mobilised to 5th Bn on 24/10/1916.
Harry was discharged unfit from 5th Reserve Bn due to sickness on 12/05/1917. He received a pension for TB of the lung originating at Ashton U Lyne in 1907.  The April 1917 medical board stated the TB was not aggravated but this was reversed on 25/05/1917 to state that his condition was aggravated by service.
Harry died from disease (unspecified) on 25/06/1918, aged 20.
The son of Alice Wilson of 46 Acre Street, Chadderton. Later 27 Seymour Street, Hollinwood.
I'm going to ask IFCP what they think about the revision to aggravation.  It looks probable Harry died from TB.

Harry Wilson's commemoration in the UKBOR was accepted today.  In due course his plot at at Failsworth Cemetery will become a war grave.  I don't know if there is a private memorial.
