Cpl 856 Arthur Pixton
Cpl Pixton enlisted in 8th Bttn on 14/1/1915 and promoted Cpl on 22/1/1915.  He was discharged on 4/6/1915. Arthur had previously served in 4th VB and KORL, 1570, from 1886-1898.  He served at No 2 Supernumerary Coy at Bute Docks,Cardiff. National Reserve No 9595.
Arthur died from Chronic Bright's disease and haemorrhage commencing on active service on 11/3/1916, aged 46. Chorlton Q1 1917 8c/1005
Widow Sarah received a Pension at 10 Mart St, Ardwick.

Arthur Pixton died from Brights Disease commencing on active service.  DC on Hold.  5 months service and no record of Brights Disease, other then Pension Card.

The DC confirms Athur Pixon died from Bright's disease at home.  Labourer at rubber works.
