Hi,
I've had to create another id as the previous one didn't seem to work any more I also didn't get any message on your reply and so only saw this on checking very recently.
I don't think my mother has any photos of that generation of Deasys.
Yes, I know of Beatrice's resting place although have never visited it.
In her final days she lived very close to us and moved from Gorton to Macclesfield. I used to go to her flat on the way home from school every day.
I was talking to my mother this morning about Walter and apparently she passed on letters that he wrote during his war service days to the Imperial War Museum at Salford Quays.

Thats very interesting about the letters, ive actually made a request to the IWM about these letters, they are now stored at the London IWM. I've sent a request to them for a copy of the letters, I should get them within 4 weeks they say, if you pm me your email ill send you a copy.
