A statement to the Red Cross by L/Cpl JR Bamford regarding the fate of Cpl Leo Worswick KiA 30.07.1916:

"Commanded the next section to me Guillemont July 30th 16. We were in touch during the attack, but he was hit later on when passing through the village.
I had to advance and cannot say if he was dead or not."
