Thanks for allowing me on the site, whilst doing my family tree l found a couple of relations who served in the Manchester Regiment firstly William Blair my great Uncle served with the 19th  Battalion  and was killed at the Somme on the first of July 1916, and is buried Thiepval, secondly another great uncle Cpl William Ormsby who was killed in 1916 Whilst serving in Mesopotamia and is buried in Basra
My Farther James Blair was with the Manchester Reg but was transferred to the Wostershire reg and served in Burma this was in the Second World War if anyone has any information loudly be most greatful
