Mossley Home Guard

A Company of the Home Guard was based in Mossley.  Because of its proximity to both towns was it a part of the 35th (Stalybridge) Battalion or the 51st (Ashton-under-Lyne) Battalion?

Robert,

Mossley was in Lancashire and Stalybridge was in Cheshire, so I would definately say Ashton.
