The majority of members will know that the regimental archives are held in the care of Tameside Council in the Local Studies and Archives building in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Unfortunately, due to local authority financial cut-backs, the opening hours for the archives will be from 15th October as follows:

Closed - Monday & Friday.
Open - Tuesday 9am to 8pm
Open - Wednesday & Thursday 9am to 5pm
Open - Saturday 10am to 3pm
