Pte 3/95659 George William Jones

Pte Jones (Born 1900) enlisted 16/4/1918.  George was discharged from 52nd (Grad) Bttn with a Pension on 29/1/1919. The Card specifies Bronchitis 20% Attrib and the Service Record specifies Attrib Pulmonary TB 100% disability as the cause of discharge.
George died from disease on 12/3/1920. His mother Mary Ann received a Pension 61 Haughton Rd, Hooley Hill, Audenshaw.

age 19
The DC is needed to identify cause of death.  TB would not have clear evidence.

George Jones died from pulmonary TB at 61 Haughton Road, Audenshaw.a domestic motor car driver & pensioner from 52nd Bn. His mother was informant.

George Jone's plot at Audenshaw was adopted as a War Grave yesterday.  He is buried in his family grave and there is a headstone with a clear inscription.  Commemoration is complete.
