hiya Charlie.
I don't have much info about these men,i'me fairly sure they were all captured on 8th march 1916,but I cant be definite.

37044 George,hedley Kelly,3 quary lane,castletown,IOM.died at mosul 1-6-16
2767 William sims,died of dysentery at dorak,turkey 14-10-16
8224 sgt jim Maguire,captured 8-3-16
4145 john,joseph borkin.from Manchester,died at amara 13-8-18 after a prisoner exchange
13877 Thomas diskin.3 house,6 court,lord st,oldham.captured 8-3-16,died at mosul 27-10-16[real name john Flanagan]
1832 james mcclennan.died in hospital Baghdad 1-5-16
93 William,ewart round[B.coy]8 brown place,pittsburg,USA.died in hospital Baghdad 7-4-16
24865 Nathan Atherton,from wigan,died in hospital Baghdad.18-4-16
1536 George broadhurst,died wounds in hospital Baghdad 21-6-16
1588 Cpl frank Cassidy,died wounds in hospital Baghdad 24-3-16,from Salford
13522 Thomas,harold gettings,18 nash st,ardwick,died of dysentery red crescent hospital Baghdad 31-5-16
30386 james hazlewood[A.coy]died of sickness in hospital Baghdad 25-4-16

Thanks Mac, I'll put a ? after the date for the time being.  Have you got them from the ICRC records or from somewhere else?

they are from my own archives,only just found them again,i've checked them to make sure they were POWs.

there was something in the M.E.N about a couple of them on the following dates.

18-4-16
3-7-16
2-11-16
