Peter Ashworth To all former Malayan Vets.
« on: December 13, 2014, 11:42:17 AM »
To all former Malayan Vets,

I have recent received news that Peter Ashworth, Manchester Regiment Chapel Committee, was recently admitted into Hospital following a Heart Attack- my news came via an old friend of mine from way back. Mrs Margery Warhurst. Unfortunately she gave me his home address and not the Hopital one, I am assuming it would be Manchester Royal Infirmary.
Let us hope that he makes a complete recovery, maybe a few Christmas Good Wishes and prayers are needed from us.
All the best to any other Jungle Bunnies who are still around and reading this.
George, (formerly B, D and The Sarawak Rangers of those days.) 8) 8)

Had a card from Bob Hinsley, Crispin Worthington's batman, Peter Ashworth had a By-pass 9th December, doing well. Will advise anything further as It comes to hand.

Cheers,
