Dates on ICRC Records

Just to clarify for the sake of accuracy. The dates stamped on the top of some lists are the dates on which the documents were processed by the ICRC and not the date that something happened to the PoW.

The attached is stamped with the date 16 AOU 1916 but the PoWs arrived at Dülmen on the 23.07.1916. This is, in this case, indicated on the righthand side under the heading and sub headings "Gekommen" (arrived) "Dat" (date) "von" (from)
