Hi all
My uncle Sargent Martin McGlynn was killed when the Japanese invalided Singapore. I have found two letters from "A Lane" to my mother. In theses letters he said he knew my uncle and that he was writing a book and my uncle would be named in it. Can anybody know the book?
Many thanks Hilly

Hilly,
According to my records McGlynn is mentioned many many times (25) in "Such Men as These" by Charles Frisby (one currently for sale on Amazon) but only once in "One God, Too Many Devils". Evidently he was killed by a shell.
Both books will certainly give you a "flavour" of what your uncle went through.
The Regimental History just shows him as being KIA in Singapore on 15 Feb 1942.
