Hello,

Pte. A. L. Jones was wounded in a Japanese bombing in Singapore on 5.2.1942.

He was taken to hospital and subsequently placed on the S. I. List almost two months later on 2.4.1942.

He was then placed on the D. I. List 28.4.1942 and died 2 days later.

What does S.I. and D.I. mean in this context please?

regards

mack
