Work on the big medal project is almost complete and the website has opened today.
Go to www.themenbehindthemedals.org.uk   and open up to see the biographies and photographs of some 800 soldiers of the regiment whose medals are held in the collection.

Visited the Museum today (along with a good number of people). The books are hugely impressive and have been meticulously researched. They will be a great reference source for future generations. Only one question-where can I get copies ?  ;D

It certainly was a splendid occasion, with so many of the people who had contributed information about their family medals being present.  It was also one of those rare opportunities to see three of the Forum moderators sober & in their right minds - in the shape of Kingo, Harribobs & Robert.
