The barracks at Minden were Clifton Barracks. This information has just come to me from Janet Gleave who's father was there 1954 to 1956. The name is on a medical report made whilst he was there which janet now has. See:
http://bfg-locations.editboard.com/minden-f29/minden-clifton-barracks-t34.htm which i found after receiving Janets information.

Hello, I am Paul and am carrying out some research for BAOR Locations (the webmaster posted a query back in April re Wuppertal)
I am trying to confirm that the Barracks in Wuppertal were indeed Anglesey, and not Manchester.
As has been said, there was a Manchester Barracks in Goslar, used by the Norwegian Brigade for a time in 1947-1948. Is there a reference somewhere that gives the name Anglesey/Anglesea?
Paul.

Hi Paul
I think your question has been answered by ArtyHughes in the previous post, the spelling would have been Anglesey, which is an island in Wales

Many thanks for your reply Chris. I was just trying to confirm that the Barracks was indeed Anglesey, and not Manchester.
Regards,
Paul.
