I have been contacted by a local lady (in her nineties), who is keen to tell the story of her uncle, John Royle.

Formerly in the Manchester Regiment, he was transferred to the 1/7th Liverpool and died in the UK 27/11/17. If anyone is interested in this man, please send me a message and I will pass your details on to her.
