Hello to the members of the forum - for my sins I have been bitten by the Great War bug, as most of you will have been. My area of interest in the subject concerns the men from Ramsbottom and the surrounding areas who served through that period. Because of the location quite a few served in the Manchester Regiment and I hope to add details for those men so that the collective knowledge of the forum is added to. As a member of the Great War Forum I recognise a few names on here so I hope that I'm in good company.   ;)
