Great War Trio from 2nd Mancs, Mons Star- opinions please

I was looking for a decent set as my GGF's medals no longer exist. These were the next best thing for me as I didn't want to buy repros but didn't want any old trio either - another fellow from the same Bn, a couple of hundred numbers difference 9807 instead of 967I. I70.00 for them.

This is what I have on him:
1914 Star medal roll: 9807 Pte F.Waters 27/8/1914 discharge? C&R issued 13/2/1925.

Can you get his medal index card, As he may have moved a round & have a SWB.

Hi just wanted to mention we have your GGF  listed on our POWs. Also proud of him as he was from Oldham my home town.

Thanks wendi I remembered his name and checked. The fact he was from Oldham probably was why! Not far from my house.
You'd have done the same.
