I will alter that thread, looks like the middle guy is my Grandad!  Just looked at his medals and it says R.A. on the side.

Mack re: 19th Battalion daily casualty report, it says Hubert died on 1st July and lived at 13 Edith Street. I had seen a copy of the newspaper cutting of this once at Oldham Local Studies Library. He lived at no 16, the cutting said 13. Also I have his plaque (?) here, and his name says HULBERT 

By the way, that list has 31st June on it. 

I am now going to have to look for Royal Artillery information. I telephoned Dad and he said "Oh yes" to his Dad being in the RA and also his brother.
