I hope this link to a Power Point slide show received from one of my ex RAF colegues opens for you.
The cemetery I believe is Kanchanaburi.  Although there looks as though there should have been sound with this it did not come through to me.

Unfortunate Cliff the Sound did not arrived for me, not too worry, I did the trip myself many years ago so the memories are still there. May they all rest in peace.

Hi Cliff, great photos. I don't suppose your colleague would allow us to use a couple of the scenic shots of the bridge and Kanchaburi cemetery in our WW2 book? It would be great to include them with the stories of our locals who worked on the railway.

Regards
Pete

I have asked the question Pete but I suspect that we may never get to the originator unless it is the TBRC in which case I have an "in" to the guy who runs it.
I will contact you direct re any progress.

Pete.
If you are having any difficulty in obtaining photos of the war cemeteries in Thailand, have a look on the regiments photo-archive site where there a number of both Chunkai and Kanchanburi.

Cliff,
Many thanks for these sections which I have sat and watched with interest having been back to visit that area, all be it some 15 or so  years ago.   With due respect to Cliff and others who may feel inclined to 'comment on them' I don't think that any of us other than the FEPOW's themselves have any right  to make any such comments.
I served with Charlie Marshall, Ted Widdowson, Major Joe Flynn and also Major 'Herbie' O'Brien, heard some of their stories of their time with the Japs and am amazed that they actuallysurvived their ordeal.
Let us remember that section of the Prayer at the Turning of the Leaves - " We thank thee for the men of the Manchester Regiment who counted not their lives ....." May They Rest In Peace.

George.

PS.My apologies I missed out your father Arthur Phillips, he was a great mate for years.
