 Thanks for the warm welcome everyone and yes Wendi the Manchesters are in my blood.My dad was with them 1948-51. I was given a Manchesters cap badge at christmass and this has started a desire to find and read everything i can about the regiment,it now takes up most of my spare time but is great fun and very addictive. I never new that the regiment had so many different cap badges untill i started to read about them and my aim is to collect them all,so if any of the forum has any to sell i would be very interested.Also i have plenty of questions to ask,so i hope you all don't get fed up with me ::) cheers.

Chic Keep an eye on the photo section, I have sent Harribob some to pst of the 1st Bn in Wuppertal and Berlin 1947 to 1951.  I was there with my dad then.
