George Henry Booth (Great Grandfather)

Hi, my name is Cathy Naude nee Gradwell and I am the niece of Peter Booth who posted the original query. I see that he has not posted for some time but I am also interested in any info anyone may have. I have found a George Henry Booth who was posted to Malta in 1898. I cannot find a cross reference to him being in the 1st Manchesters at the time. As I am new to all this any advice on how to back track to another regiment? Thanks
