 I am pleased to be part on this group
I am researching my grandfather .He died on the 22 march 1918 flanders. He was part of the 18th Battalion ,his name was Charles Henry Selby . Can anybody point me in the right direction.

 His Medal index card has the following information.

He entered the war on the 8th of November 1915 and was entitled to the 1915star, Victory and British medals. It also say that death was assumed on the 22nd of March 1918.

He originally enlisted in the 19th Battalion in 1914 and was posted to the 17th Battalion on its disbandment in February 1918. He is on this photograph somewhere-but we dont know where.

Thanks to you both  I am his grandson , and as part of my research into my family tree ,I am after as much information about him as possible. Do you know whether there is any photos of the battalion , and where I could get his sevice records from.

 I've look on Ancestry but there does not look like there are any service records
