Absent Voters List

Hi Everyone

Does anyone have access to the absent voters list, I am trying to see if Arthur Robinson was listed, living at 35 Irk Dale Street, Manchester.

Hi i take it this is IRK DALE STREET COLLYHURST? I don't have access to that section but you could look at it at Manchester central library as they hold the whole  (correction) some of Manchester from 1918 to 1923 i think?

According to the library website, not all Migky !

"We hold some absent voters lists for the City of Manchester for 1918-1923 on microfilm. They give information such as the regiment, regimental number, rank, battalion."

Hi Wendi, which ones do you have on microfilm? as would maybe help me with one or two i have names and address's for but no service numbers. The ones i have are the 1918 for Ardwick, Blackley, Gorton, Hulme & Salford all PDF's on cd. I didn't know any were on microfilm other than those at the library?

I didn't mean to get your hopes up, the quote is not from "us" but from the Manchester Library Website, the point I was trying to make was that they only have some

hi all
do you no where i can get a copy of the AVL may be as a pdf or on cd? I have a lot of look-ups and dont have the address for them all so dont want to wast anyone elses time but my own scrolling tho them but my own.
