Migky.

Hi Roy, here is a cemetery map of Phillips park for you. I have marked the section you are looking for.
Note* take a small shuvel, a stiff brush and a spike. Some time the headstones have either fallen down or over grown and these might help locate it.

That's great thanks a lot Migky, I know where that plot is, although I've never explored it.
I'll be down there in the next couple of days, I really do appreciate your help.
Keep your fingers crossed that it has a stone!
Incidentally, I have spent many hours in the cemetery looking for my mothers side of the family who are also in there
and the place was a total mess with hundreds of stones face down and generally looking sad, but when I went last week
all the stones had been replaced in the upright position, there is renovation going on and the graveyard looks as nice as graveyards get to be,
it now looks cared for and beautifully maintained

Two days ago I stood next to the grave of my Grandmother and Great Grandmother for the first time, as you can imagine it was a very emotional moment for me and was only made possible by the help I was given by the following people on this site

Wendi/Tonyrod/Grimmy/Robert Bonner/Mack/Georgetheshed/migky/tisgrannie and themonsstar.

I would have liked to buy you all a drink, but since the odds of actually getting some alcohol down your necks seems very slim
I have today made a small donation to Blesma by way of a thank you to you all.
Kindest regard and many thanks
Roy

tonyrod

Hi Roy, your more than welcome, but now you got me old taste buds going and think i will have to nip out for a quick pint of the old Irish diesel  ;D ( Gunniss in other word)

Wendi

Dave! Thank you for your kind words.  Glad to have been of assistance.

Wonderful outcome for you. The cause of death was a heart attack. Myocardial infarction. (Heard some funny tales about old people retelling this cause)
What a feeling of belonging you must have felt, i'm so happy for you. Sadly some folks find nothing or no one.
kind regards.

Hi Roy

I'm glad we could all help you with your research, but remember this is only the beginning as its never-ending.

Cheers Roy
