Dear Timberman.  It would be you that found the site!! 

At the moment it is not officially launched as the Archivist and her staff are still in the midst of digitising the regimental photograph collection and this will continue for some  time due to its size.

However the Archivist is happy for people to see what has been achieved already but bear in mind that it is still unfinished.

When complete it will be a fantastic addition to the material available for research into the Manchester Regiment.

Hello Robert

Finding the link, as with most of my "find" for the link and snippet sections happen when I'm looking for something else. I spent so long looking at The Manchester Regiment Image Archive site, when I had finished looking at it I had forgot what I was looking for.
A big thank-you to the Archivist and her staff for what they have already done.
