Pre ww2 i know he served in palestine with the 1st btn but after that all i know was he was injured on 24/5/1940 any more info would be appreciated

Hi wildman
He would have joined shortly after my father and probably served in the West Indies before Palastine.  I don't have him amongst any of the information I have on Japanese POW's so he may not have gone to Singapore with the 1st Battalion.

Hi wendi, william rounding was my grandad. As he never really spoke about his time in the army im just trying to peice together with photos and his medals. all i know up to now is pre war but he must have served in europe as he won the france and germany star.
