I agree with sphinx

Albert Edward Donohue under that name only
has the pair.

I've posted the MIC (that will need to be removed later)
on the bottom part is the name W James, what this relates to
I don't know but there is a Cpl W James that was in the MGC
that was awarded a DCM in 1916.

Maybe clutching at straws!!!!

MIC removed due to copyright

sphinx

That W. James actually says "W. Lancs."  for West Lancashire Division.

Thanks for that, now you said it I can see.
Shame though it would be good to prove he
was entitled to the DCM and the 1914/15 star

Timberman

PS. I'll remove the MIC so we don't infringe
on copyright.

donny

Tinberman, sorry been away for a while. What MIC are you referring to ? Does it relate to Albert Edward ? Can I see a Copy ? Do you have a link to it ? I have sent a pm .

Sorry , just seen the reply from Sphinx. An easy mistake to make, built my hopes up though 😀

Hi Donny

It got my hopes up for you as well
it is on the bottom half of the MIC
that had the DCM in brackets at the top.
