To date I have managed to access the service records (WWI) for my great grandfather, Frank Hirst.  Due to there being no surviving photographs of Frank within the family, I'm wondering if any group members can help me obtain any copies that exist of images taken during his years of service.  I do know that he started his military life in the 10th Manchester Territorials before joining the RFA (Royal Field Artillery).  He lived in Oldham, Lancashire and was married to Alice (maiden name Chadwick).  Any help most appreciated.  Thanks :)

Not very good at working these sites (genuine excuse!).  Couldn't fathom out how to thank the kind members for their help in my search.  Just noticed the reply sign above messages.  Anyway, many sincere thanks for all help!!  Still searching for that elusive photograph.  :D
