Happy New Year.   I am responding to a post from Mack and Sphinx of February 2012.  And to Pete Th for his initiative.

Hi, last February you kindly identified some of the officers in photograph of the 22nd Battalion officers.  Charlie May, who particularly interests me, is 2nd left on the 2nd row.  Is it Etheridge there in the prime central position?

I wonder, do you have any other names you can give me, and where they are in the photo?

The Charlie May book will be published in May.  Thanks for all your help.  Watch this space.

Sorry to come back on this, but thanks to Kingo, Mack, grimmy, Timberman and others for your info, but I think that some of this is conflicting..

I am trying to complete all the names in the officers' photo.   Can anyone please help to fill the gaps?   This what I have, L to R:

Top Row:  Gomersall or Prince?, Harrison, Mellor, ? , Maiden, ? , ? , Reid.
Middle Row: ? , ? , ? , ? , ? , Oldham (looking away), Shelmerdine, ? , Knudsen, ? , ? .
Front Row: ? , May, Townsend, ? , Etheridge, Earles, ? , Donald Murray.
