Hi,
Paddy Burke mentions  Col. Mitchell, replaced around march 10th 1916. I haven't seen him in the pictures.

Hi John,
I wondered if you had any information about Frank Hill. I am researching Paddy Burke, my great uncle, who survived 'til oct 1917. I am trying to place the 20th Manchesters on a daily basis.

Hi Radley,

My main PC with all the data is out of action at the moment. The best suggestion I can come up with now is for you to look at the original posting I made on the forum.

Go to the section on WW1 and scroll down the topics. Look for the one mentioning Frank Hill (should still be near the top). In that topic I give a few basic facts about him and others have added links to the war diary and trench maps which I found interesting.

Working on identifying George Buckwright in the photo. Here is a postcard from Morecombe! Stamped and dated 1915 to George's mother in Seedley.

A P Burke is the one lying down looking very rested
