Hello, I've been doing some research on George William Downing, have found him in the photo of 19th Batt. D. company Platoon 15, probably a long shot but is there any way of finding out which one is him, many thanks,

theres no way of knowing who he is,they just took the photo and gave a list of who was in the picture,its frustrating knowing that your relative is in there somewhere but dont know who he is.

Hello Mack, thanks for your reply, i've been researching G.W.Downing for his great niece, as you say it will be frustrating for her knowing her g/uncle is in there somewhere, i will email her the photo and if by some chance she can identify him i will let you know, meantime anyone else viewing this has any information regarding G.W. Downing would love to hear from you, i have his MIC and his service records.
