 Platoon 12 C Company 21st Manchesters - A Hall - Alfred Hall was my maternal grandmothers uncle.

Died aged 19 years on 1st July,1916.I have the locket with his photo in it.

Alfred Hall was the son of George Edward Hall and Sarah Ann [nee Abrahams] of Newton Heath.

Alfred was listed as living at owens st,newton heath in the casualty lists for 1916

Thanks Mack - the CWGC website also gives an address of 40 Queens St,Droylesden Road,Newton Heath.....mind you my Manchester family seem to move house every few months in those days !!
