I see that the platoon roll attached to this post is that of VI Platoon rather than V Platoon.  Is there one for V Platoon?

As you kindly pointed out it seems that this is a typing error.   I have the "Manchester City Battalions Book of Honour" in which are depicted a photograph and a list of "B" Company's Platoon No. V under the command of Lt. W. Boyd Orr.   Is there a name in which you are interested?       PhilipG.

I'm trying to identify the 19th Battalion platoon that 11790 Pte Harold Dickinson served in and saw that the date of his death was marked on the Forum some years ago, when he was said to have been a member of 5 Platoon, B Company, 17th Battalion, this last incorrect.  I therefore started my search with 5 Platoon, 19th Battalion, and noticed that this platoon's roll seemed to be missing.  I should be very grateful if you could check the roll in the Book of Honour; if he's not there I'll search the other battalion platoon rolls.  Many thanks.

Just to say that 11790 - H. Dickinson is recorded in the roll for B Coy. in platoon No. V. under the command of Lt. Orr.   PhilipG.

After nearly 10 years of me doing this list the mistake has finally been
put right, please note the roll now is the correct one.

I noticed that there are three Dickinson's,

11790 Private H Dickinson, 11791 Private W Dickinson and
11792 L/Corpl E Dickinson.

Wonder if the are related.
