Found this site whilst looking for Manchester men who were transferred into the 11th East Lancs. I worked with Bill Turner on the Accrington Pals for nearly two decades, and spent many hours with him in the Public Record office at Kew, researching the men who were missing from the nominal rolls in his book.
Bill gave me all his material just before he died and asked me to carry on.
