does anyone have any trace of: Charles dillion 3rd Militia Battalion, matthew lowe 4th militia battalion and possibly 1st battalion both possibly service in boer War, later service in WW1 and possibly arthur magenis, any help greatly appreciated

classW is where a man can be sent back to his former employment or employed in work towards the war effort
formerly served 6yrs in the 3rd militia battalion,manchester regt

i remember the son charles teling us as kids that his dad had served in south africa, what do you think? he was in the militia at the right time but did he go i wonder?
