suzanne 13th february 1916

L/cpl eckersley and ptes gleave+bentley have been killed in suzanne,a shell landed on the cellar that contained the regimental postal section.
the three men were buried in suzanne communal cemetery extension the following day,the service being conducted by the brigade chaplain the rev balleine.
the three men were laid side by side in graves E.8.E9.and E.10.
