Hi everyone, although i have been a passive member of the forum for some time this is my first post.
I collect alsorts to the Manchesters and have just aquired a lovely set of postcards. They all belonged to one man who i think emigrated to Canada just before the first war. He was in the 2nd VB and later the 6th Territorial battalion, i am after any info on him, one of the postcards is of a chap with boer war medals but is not named so i dont know if this is him or a mate, also did he serve with the Canadians in the Great war or come back over here, the postcards actually came from Maine USA.
Anyway, if anyone can find anything i would be very grateful
He is
Charles Lennox
I think his address was
7 Slade Lane Longsight
He may also have owned a restaurant on Peter st in town called Lennox restaurant
I have one address in canada which is
The Nurseries
Loch Lomand Rd
St John
New Brunswick
All the stuff is dated 1906 to 1912
Thanks in advance for any help
Pete
