George died and is buried in Southern cemetery, on the 18th April 1945 in the non-conformist section part of the cemetery, grave  NO M-276.
At the time of his death he was residing at 4 Mona terrace, Sale. Cheshire. He died age 80. He is buried with his wife Annie. She was buried 20th Feb 1961 and was residing at the same address.
