Greek partisans?

My other grandad was POW for 3 months by the Greek Partisans? Can anyone explain these to me? It's a complete new thing for me!

Hi Wendi

Thanks for that, I only found out about this last night, this is to do with my other grandad, Eric Johnson, I know he was in the Border Regt., Reconnaissance Corp, and the 17/21st Lancers, although I don't know in which order! I've been looking up the latter regiment, and they were in Italy from 1942 - 1944/45, and then Greece 1945-1948, so it's quite possible it was during that time. I can't really find much out about the other regiments he was in, as thats all I have!

Jane :)
