Queen's Birthday Parade Berlin- 1956?

Hi All,

I've joined the forum to find out if anyone has any images of the queen's birthday parade in Berlin in 1956 (I think that's the right year?). My Grandad, Alfred Willshaw, was in the parade and I would love to surprise him with some memories as it is an event he speaks fondly about. It might even have been filmed?My grandad is unfortunately unwell at the moment and so time is of the essence. If anyone can help I would be extremely grateful.

I have about ten photographs of this parade (total about 765 KB) but with my poor success rate of getting piccies on the site winder if it might be better if I send them to you, what do you reckon.

Further to my last message,
On rechecking my albums I find in fact that there were two major parades in 1955 (not 1956 Lauren - by then we were down in Minden) - the first one was the Allied Farewell Parade for Major General Oliver in April on the Olympischer Platz then the Queens Birthday Parade in June inside the Olympic Stadium proper.
There are some 20 photographs ( total of about 791KB) of the first parade and 14 (total of about 790KB) for the QB one.
Will keep looking for others removed from the albums for various reasons and never put back, ending up in a yellow plastic box.
