Charity Abseil Event
« on: April 15, 2009, 02:01:25 PM »
I was wondering whether anyone wishes to participate in a charity abseil event at The Place, Ducie Street, Manchester, M1 2TP, this is an attempt to break the world record abseil, getting over 1000 people accross the country to abseil of buildings.  This is an event to raise money for Opal Africa, a charity which is raising money to build a village in africa, supply clean water, education and health care for upto 200,000 people.  For more details log on Opal Foundation website.

This would be a wonderful opportunity to raise the profile of The Manchester Regiment.

We are in desperate need of people to join in, if you require further info please contact me on amandar[at]opalgroup.com.  please replace the [a] with an @ to contact.  Thank you.

Kind regards
