Infomation on Tom Rust ( Bren Gun Carrier Driver)

Hello,
    Not done this before so will see how it goes. Anyway i am looking for infomation on my Grandad Tom Rust, born in Hackney London and moved to Bedford before the war i think. During the war i have been told and from the stories i can remember he drove a Bren Gun Carrier and landed in France on DD+1 then moved on through Holland. Any infomation is much appreciated!

inform on WW2 is not open to the general public but as you are his surviving next of kin, or if not you one of your family, you would be best to apply to the Veterans Agency for his service records
