can anyone give me more details about Thomas Ambrose Walker - 2nd Manchesters - Lance Corp - musician.

May have served in the Boar War -  dont know if he did !

There are 8 Walker's on the medal roll for the 2nd Bn in the SA War, only one is a T Walker  2257 Pte T.Walker QSA medal with clasps Wittebergen,Cape Colony,Transvaal.

Most of the service records & medal rolls from the SA War are not on line, so you will only get so far with your own research. You could post more details on here and see if anyone can help you.

Or you could get a researcher to do the work and pay them.
