Hello, could anybody help me.

I am searching for my grandads records.  He was in the 9th? Battallion of the manchester regiment in the 2nd world war and was discharged because of an injury.

Could anybody find me any info?

Have you considered trying to obtain his service record? 

There is not too much available pertaining to individuals in WW2 available to the general public, but relatives can obtain copies of records, if the service personal has passed over.
